Brougher Hall is named for Dr. John Brougher and his wife, Esther. They were strong supporters of the university and, in 1947, funded the construction of Brougher Hall, which was originally a science building.
Today, Brougher Hall houses classrooms, facilities, and faculty offices for the university’s art and design programs, including a wood shop and a screen printing room. Art and design students also have nearby access to spaces dedicated to ceramics, photography and graphic design.
